This flow chart will help for your electricians practice test or your license exam. Whether you're going for the Masters, Journeyman, or Contractor's license, the route you take from question to answer is the same. You will have 3 different types of questions.
- Code questions where you need to find the word for word answer in the NEC.
- Calculations where you either have the formula, or perform from memory.
- Government documents that you can either bring with you or have to memorize. These are local codes. Usually found on your local electrical board website.
This is why you need to study your electrical exam bulletin to find out exactly how many, of each type of question, will be on the electrical test.
